Let me tell your story.
The voice for families and children in Sudbury, ON
Hi, I'm Julie.
I was born and raised in the Greater City of Sudbury, Ontario.
I graduated from Laurentian University with a Bachelor Degree with Honours Specialization in Law and Justice in 2017. Immediately I packed up & moved south to attend the University of Windsor Faculty of Law and the University of Detroit Mercy Faculty of Law; graduating in May 2020 with both, my Canadian Juris Doctorate & American Juris Doctorate. I am now dedicated to helping families in Northern Ontario and I am a proud member of the Family and Child Protection Law panels with Legal Aid Ontario.
My professional values can be summed up as follows:
-
child centred
-
honesty & integrity
I have strong personal values, which include:
-
coffee is liquid heaven
-
you can't pour from an empty cup
-
we are all humans
-
retribution is always possible
Reach out if you want to talk about your rights or the procedure. understand that your situation is all-consuming and being heard is paramount. Let me tell your story.
How I can help.
It is important to me that you understand the process and
are kept up-to-date in order to make informed decisions.
FAMILY LAW
Not all family disputes have to go to court.
We are here to help you with the hard decisions regarding your children and their best interests. Depending on the circumstances, your desired outcomes can be achieved by entering a legally binding agreement stipulating matters from parenting time to the division of the matrimonial home, and everything
in between.
PARENTING AGREEMENTS
Parenting agreements help both parents feel secure and confident after the breakdown of a relationship.
We can set up a parenting schedule that allows you maximum time with your children.
CHILD PROTECTION
Everyone has a different walk of life. I am here to help without judgement. I apply a child focus mindset to all my matter, and work towards mitigating the concerns a child protection agency may possess.
PRE-MARRIAGE AGREEMENTS
It is essential to know and understand your rights and interests as an individual and while in a relationship. Marriage is more than a contract of love: it is important to know how marriage impacts your new life.
SEPARATION AGREEMENTS
Separation agreements are legally binding agreements that allow you and your former partner to resolve
the issues in your dissolved relationship without
involving the courts.
DIVORCE
After you and your former spouse have been separated for a year, you are entitled to apply to the courts for a Divorce. For some this process is dreadful and for others it is liberating. However, it should not add to your every day stress. Let me help.
